The Propeller Club is a nonprofit organization whose membership represents a diverse cross-section of the maritime industry across the United States, Europe, and the Far East. On both a national and international level, the organization is committed to advancing and supporting the interests of the global maritime community.

As the world’s largest grassroots maritime association, The Propeller Club includes approximately 12,000 members, with chapters in 55 U.S. ports and 25 international locations, as well as 24 student chapters.

The Propeller Club of the United States, Port of Washington, D.C. plays a vital role in strengthening relationships among the many sectors of the maritime industry. The Club provides a forum for collaboration and the exchange of ideas on issues impacting maritime commerce. A key priority is educating legislators and the public on the importance of waterborne trade and its essential role in economic prosperity and national security.
